Capital One Posts Lower Mortgage Rates TodayMortgage interest rates have moved down today at Capital One. The best rate for a 30-year fixed mortgage today is 4.000% with an APR of 4.084%, while the popular shorter-term 15-year fixed loan is quoted at 3.375% with an APR of 3.485%. Buyers can lock into a 5/1 ARM at 3.000% for the first five years with an APR of 2.977%. A 7/1 adjustable rate mortgage is published at 3.125% for seven years with an APR of 3.049%.

Capital One has posted lower competitive rates for jumbo loans. Buyers can lock into a 30-year fixed jumbo mortgage at a 4.125% interest rate with an APR of 4.147% or a 15-year jumbo loan with an interest rate of 3.750% with an APR of 3.788%. A 5/1 jumbo ARM has a published rate as low as 2.750% for five years with an APR of 2.862%. A 6/1 jumbo adjustable rate mortgage is published at 3.125% for seven years with an APR of 3.010%.

Capital One is offering new lower deals on refinance loans as well. Well qualified homeowners can lock into a 30-year refinance loan at 4.125% with an APR of 4.178%. A 15-year refi loan is published at 3.500% with an APR of 3.593%. Homeowners who want greater flexibility can lock into a 5/1 ARM refinance at 3.125% with a corresponding APR of 3.021% or a 7/1 ARM with a rate of 3.250% for seven years with an APR of 3.098%.
